This veterinary professional development course has been created as part of the NSW Koala Strategy. The course is aimed at veterinarians and veterinary nurses and focused at improving the knowledge and skills of veterinary staff related to wildlife triage, first aid, treatment and care.

Interested in a career in the animal care industry? This course is specially designed as a HSC program for students in year 11 or 12 while undertaking their stage 6 studies. 

Taronga Zoo Sydney offers workshops, tours and lectures tailored to complement tertiary study. During a 90 minute workshop, lecture or tour, participants will learn about issues at the heart of Taronga’s mission and experience the Zoo from a whole new perspective.
