Sydney - Litter Free Oceans Immersive Study Day

This curriculum focus day explores the marine environment and the impact of pollution. The day’s inquiries will stimulate your students’ geographical knowledge of Sydney Harbour and ignite their passion for exploring sustainable solutions to real world problems.
Sydney - Observing Animal Behaviour
Depth study, Stage 6 (Year 11)
This depth study introduces students to the necessity of observation to drive scientific investigation. With over 4000 animals in our care, Taronga Zoo Sydney is the perfect environment for students to plan, observe and record animal behaviour.
Sydney - Wildlife at Risk
Depth study, Stage 6 (Year 11)
On this Depth Study day, students will engage with Taronga’s scientists and experts to deepen their understanding of risks threatening wildlife populations and conservation efforts that are trying to protect them.
Dubbo - Wildlife at Risk

During this depth study students will have the opportunity to directly engage with scientists and experts working in the field of Conservation Biology to develop an understanding of the role that these expert’s scientific skills, research and fieldwork play in protecting some of Australia’s most vulnerable animals and ecosystems.
Sydney - Biological Diversity
Study day, Stage 6
This program has been developed by the Australian Museum, Botanic Gardens Greater Sydney and Taronga Zoo. Students will examine fossils, specimens, live animals and plants to understand biological diversity by explaining the relationships between a range of organisms in terms of specialisation for selected habitats and evolution of species.
Sydney - Tourism: An Economic Activity

This program is a partnership between Observatory Hill EEC and Taronga Zoo Sydney Education Centre and focuses on the Stage 6 Geography topic ‘People and Economic Activity‘.

Visit Taronga Zoo Sydney and witness the results of our successful breeding programs, whilst exploring the Zoo's current science communication initiatives to gain ideas for your students' own design project.
Dubbo - Careers Day
Stage 6
When people initially think about careers in the Zoo, Zoo Keepers come to mind, but Taronga also offers employment in a variety of areas. Careers Day will allow students to find out all they want to know about potential career opportunities at Taronga Western Plains Zoo and will have the opportunity to hear from industry experts.
